Slowly now.
In an effort to finally be cool (it seems my fight is never going to be over) I downloaded several awesome things yesterday and this morning, in a desperate vie for procrastination (deadly) away from my godawful paper. I have Firefox. I have Soulseek. I rock. Worship me. I also have a billion tracks of beautiful new music as of four o'clock last night. Rocking so hard it hurts. Bored, tired, and lacking conclusion statement? So am I!

You need to download something by LCD soundsystem. If you like the new le tigre, you will love this. Well, it's not political in the same way (more an internal politics of art and specifically the overpretentious nature of the indie rock genre), and it's way more minimalist, but it is utterly dancetastic. They did a remix of deceptacon too.
Umm, I guess I should be nerdy and recommend some software too. But...meh. I guess you ought to use gaim or something instead of msn. But I don't know that stuff on windows.

I downloaded more le tigre (yeah...) and some modest mouse...for more of "the experience." I also downloaded some lcd after your suggestion, but I haven't listened to it yet. Heard lots good about it though, from a bud of mine. Exciting.
